I am proud to be the Director of Nursing for the care center at The Peaks. I have a BSN and an MA from Gonzga University and a nursing degree from Purdue University, Indiana. I was a nurse in the US Air Force for over eight years and worked in the Panama Canal Zone for three years. In my spare time, I founded and was the first president of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care in Indiana. For the last 20 years, I have been working in long-term care. I love animals and have a cat and dog. Glory, my golden retriever, is still a puppy, but she will be starting her therapy dog training at the Red Cross soon. I also enjoy painting clay pots and writing fiction and non-fiction. I look forward to working with the great residents and staff here at The Peaks. What a beautiful place to be of service. |
