I'm a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist and earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I have worked in hospital settings, community programs, and with corporations consulting, developing and facilitating recreational programs.

As The Peaks Activity Director, my job is to assesses the residents’ interests and needs and then provides individual and group activities to enhance their lives. Programs at The Peaks include “Talking Books," exercise classes, arts & crafts, recreational outings, creative writing, bridge, poker, bingo, and group games, to name a few.

My goal is to involve all residents in activities because I believe "A ball in motion stays in motion and a ball at rest stays at rest. To keep moving, keep a bounce in your step!"
